When you’re feeling pulled in different directions (your body is telling you one thing, your mind another, and your emotions are all over the place), you feel out of synch, lost and frustrated. If you’ve ever gone through a body detox before, I’m sure you’ll have experienced some challenges, some waves of emotional intensity and negative thinking.
A physical detox alone can bring up emotional, mental and spiritual issues.
This is because our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels are all interconnected - they operate together as one. So when you look at it this way, it’s no surprise that a physical release of toxins can cause a release of ‘toxins’ on the other levels too.
If you take a fragmented approach - only focusing on one piece of the whole (for example just focusing on the physical level) - you’ll receive a fragmented result. These results are usually superficial and temporary. You can’t look at one piece of a jigsaw puzzle and call it a whole picture.
This is whyI work holistically, supporting your whole being - body, mind and soul.
How re-connecting with your soul may prevent disease
Busy, stressful lives full of ‘to do’ lists, along with an onslaught of social media, films, television and other modern distractions, can easily take us away from connecting with ourselves on a deep level. Very few people create space to be in silence and solitude and to sit with their soul on a regular basis.
This means that our sense of belonging and connection to the earth, including many of our emotions and thoughts, barely receive the attention they deserve.
When we’re stressed, busy and have our attention elsewhere, we can miss the intuitive messages our whole being is trying to convey.
We dismiss those niggling doubts, thoughts and feelings when they arise because we don’t have the time to focus on them (or don’t want to acknowledge they’re there in the first place). So these important intuitive messages get ignored and stuffed back down. We miss our soul’s communication. The more we disconnect, the more we repress and fragment ourselves.
Repressed thoughts and emotions are often warning bells that something is out of synch in our lives.
If we continue to ignore them they can subconsciously block our pathway, manifesting as an inability to create the fulfilling life we want. This creates an underlying sense of instability and stress.
Prolonged stress can severely disrupt your health and your life. It lowers your immunity, causes digestive disorders, candida, headaches, mood swings, and if left untreated, it can lead to high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, heart disease and many other serious health problems. Stress causes us to disconnect from our ‘centre’, our soul, our loved ones and our environment. As a result, we lose a sense of harmony with our lives and can begin to feel lost.

What is a physical detox?
Detoxification is the process of clearing harmful toxins from the body.
Your body naturally produces toxins in its everyday functions and then processes them for elimination - it does this as well as clearing toxins absorbed from your environment. However, we’re now living in an age where we’re coming into contact with the most amount of toxins humanity has ever experienced. Approximately 85,000 different chemicals are used in the U.S. alone.
What makes it worse is that the Environmental Protection Agency has only reviewed a few hundred of these chemicals for safety. This means that more than 84,000 chemicals haven’t been tested yet - and we’re being exposed to them. These chemicals turn up in our food, packaging, cosmetics, personal products (such as body lotions, nail polish and toothpaste), furniture, carpets, paint, household cleaners and more.
Due to this recent explosion of environmental toxins, our bodies are struggling to carry out optimal detoxification. Diseases such as cancer, autism, autoimmune disease, infertility and other hormonal imbalances are on a dramatic rise. We’re only just beginning to see the connection to these diseases and increased toxicity.
Your body is truly miraculous but there’s only so much it can cope with. Everyone has their own level of ‘toxic load’ in the body which differs according to your medical history and lifestyle choices. When your body isn’t able to detoxify at its optimal performance, toxins will gradually build up. If this situation is allowed to continue it can compromise your health.
Your body needs a helping hand.
A well structured detox can improve your health. A misguided detox can damage your health.
Detoxing has become so popular that you can find an array of pills and powders on the shelves of your local supermarket, and an overflow of books and articles recommending various approaches (including grapefruit juice fasts and a stomach churning mix of lemon water, maple syrup and cayenne pepper!). Some of the commercial products are highly processed and filled with artificial ingredients and sugar - the very things you’re meant to be getting rid of!
Your body needs particular nutrients in order to detoxify, so I certainly don’t recommend a restrictive fast. And I certainly don’t recommend detoxing with highly processed ingredients either. None of that makes sense.
A detox can be a stressful task for your body because it has to work extra hard to process and flush out all the toxins that need to be released. If you undertake a harsh detox when your health isn’t in the best condition, or if you have an illness or if your body’s pathways of detoxification are compromised, your body will struggle to release the toxins - resulting in extra stress and inflammation. If your body can’t excrete all the toxins that have been released, it has to find somewhere else within the body to store them. Over time your body becomes overwhelmed with this toxic build up, and your health suffers.
You are unique and your body has its own story to tell - its own unique actions, reactions and issues that need to be addressed. It’s important therefore that your medical history and lifestyle is taken into account when you decide to go on a detox. Only in this way can you make sure you’re supporting and nurturing your body with what it needs and not putting your health at risk.
In order to carry out the detoxification safely, I use a personalised diet and natural techniques to ensure that your body will release all the toxins from your entire system.
When your body feels supported in this way, it becomes far easier to focus on the other aspects of the detox such as the emotional, mental and spiritual issues that arise.

So what’s involved in the
Body, Mind & Soul 6 Week Detox Program?
Firstly, we need to make sure we’ll be a good fit. It’s vitally important that we feel comfortable with each other. So before you even sign up to do this program, we’ll have a chat to see if it feels good for both of us to work together. This will give you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have about the program. I want you to feel fully informed so that you’re able to make a confident decision.
If we do decide to work together we’ll begin by setting up your welcome consultation. (It doesn’t matter where in the world we are - consultations are by Skype or phone).
The purpose of this consultation is to establish your reasons for doing the detox and to explore the goals you have in mind. I’ll talk you through the detox program so you’ll know what to expect. You’ll also receive a questionnaire to complete which includes your medical history as well as some lifestyle and holistic questions.
My main goal is for you to end this session feeling totally confident, focused and fully prepared.
This consultation takes place before you’ve even begun your 6 week program, so we’ll use this opportunity to set your start date.
The Body, Mind & Soul Detox Program runs for 6 weeks from your start date.
Here’s what you’ll receive:
A personal consultation with me (up to 1 1/2 hours) once a week for the full 6 weeks.
Holistic nutrition and coaching will be part of every consultation:
Holistic Nutrition - I’ll create a detox program exclusively designed around your needs. It will involve natural whole foods, providing your body with all the nutrients it needs to cleanse, balance and heal. One thing’s for sure - your body will be nourished and supported at all times.
Coaching - we’ll explore every level of your being in these sessions - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. And we’ll work together to create achievable goals for your week ahead to keep you focused, motivated and moving forward.
Spiritual practices and creative therapies will be available to you whenever required (such as personalised affirmations, emotional writing, nature attunement, life balance exploration, Goddess readings and behaviour pattern exercises).
You’ll also receive guided meditations (exclusive to this program) to do in your own time, providing you with some extra support throughout the 6 weeks (and beyond!).
Your diet will change from week to week as your body is gently eased into the detox. So, to make this process even easier, I’ll provide you with recipes each week, designed around your personal needs.
For those moments when you feel confused, uncertain or you find yourself struggling in some way, you’ll receive unlimited e-mail support from me throughout the program.
I’ll also provide you with full access to my members only CrapFree Goddess Support Group on Facebook, which means you’ll be able to connect with like-minded people for additional support and encouragement.
